Triental AB is a small consultancy and product company developing products for the banking and finance industry. Our customers are larger banks that offers Private Banking and/or Wealth Management to their customers. Our solutions combines modern portolio theory with high-tech technology. Our products include for example portfolio optimization systems, simulation and analysis engines as well as porfolio management systems etc.

Mimesis Republic - MMO Development - Paris

Mimesis Republic is developping a MMO Platform using the Scala language.

We’re looking for passionate people, interested in developing MMO Web video games in a dynamic environement (Paris - France / French speaking is a plus).

The positions to fulfill are Server side programmers - however we expect people to work non exclusively on this part (some client and tools code will be necessary). No gameDev experience is required; we provide internal expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Full life-cycle development ranging from requirements analysis to deployment in an object-oriented software development environment
  • Design and implementation of user-driven enhancements and requirements
  • Test, document, and support enterprise-quality software
  • Ensure timely delivery of application and compatibility with architecture standards

Requirements

  • Java proficiency
  • Experience in at least one other relevant language (Scala, C/C++, Python, Perl, Haskell, Ruby)
  • Self-motivated, able to work well individually and with a team, willing, and able to put in extra hours to meettight deadlines
  • Strong academic background and problem solving skills
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter, and results oriented
  • Interest and experience in finance is a big plus
  • Passionate, smart, and articulate developer
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent

We primarily use Java but we have started to use Scala recently. We are looking to expand our use of Scala and are particularly interested in people who have extensive experience with functional programming languages.
